The Sound Architect consists of many passionate individuals who all volunteer their time and talents to help us reach the audio community and provide high quality content. No-one is paid at this current time, including Sam, as any sponsorship or revenue goes into our costs of running the site/attending events etc. However, if you are also passionate enough about audio and want to contribute to our website we’d be honoured to have your application!
In the long run, we are hoping to get to a point where we can pay our team, however we are not at a stage where that is possible. We are always honest and open, so when this is possible we will be making sure it happens! Until then your time is highly valued and so is your passion. Plus there are some other benefits to working with us that include:
- Being part of a worldwide recognised name in the industry.
- Working with a great, supportive team of awesome individuals.
- Experiencing a supportive, flexible work environment where you can learn and expand your knowledge.
- Free Press tickets to high caliber industry events, such as EGX, EGX Rezzed, School of Sound, Develop and many more.
- Free Press copies of video games/other media in exchange for review.
- Chances to use and review high-end audio equipment and software.
For all of these roles contact: email@example.com with details of the position you want to apply for, a sample of your experience if you can, and why you want the position.
Here are some of the ways you can get involved:
Social Media Manager
We need someone to help us with our social media content in keeping up with current audio news, information etc. on various social media platforms. Ideally we need someone fairly knowledgeable about audio, who is also handy with social media. Is that you? Drop us a line!
We get a LOT of press and news e-mails about audio in the industry. This role would mainly deal with all of these e-mails and deciding which are worth posting to the site as part of the NEWS section. For this role you will also co-ordinate with social media to put the news across different platforms.
Whether you attend events, play games, watch movies or even have opinions on audio, we’re always looking to expand our team of extraordinary writers. Feel like you have a strong writing skill and want to put your views across? Get in touch!
We need a video editor to help us with our YouTube and video content. The key here is consistency and making sure we can get The Sound Architect brand united across all platforms. Ideally we need someone who is familiar with video editing software and fancies helping out, so feel free to contact us!
As The Sound Architect grows, so will opportunities, so there is always a chance to learn and flourish in your area. We look forward to hearing from you!
